HOLLYWOOD—Looks like there are plenty of lies still to be uncovered in the town of Rosewood, PA. ABC Family announced on Tuesday, March 26 that its mystery thriller “Pretty Little Liars” has been renewed for a fifth season. The news also welcomed a surprise for fans as a spin-off of the series “Ravenswood” would also premiere during the “PLL” annual Halloween episode this year.
With the cast currently in the process of shooting season four right now, it appears there is still much story about the lives of Aria (Lucy Hale), Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Emily (Shay Mitchell) that the audience doesn’t know. Season three ended with a game-changing finale, that will likely lead to a stunning season premiere.
For those not aware, the title episode for season four is “A is For A-L-I-V-E.” Does that mean BFF Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse) is alive? Audiences will hopefully get the answer to that question in a few months. The season three finale broke TV records as the series drew in more than a million tweets during its finale. This means fans can expect television’s guiltiest pleasure to continue airing until 2015! I can only imagine what other secrets and troubles are little liars will get into.
