SAN FRANCISCO—The city of San Francisco was ranked number one in the country in relation to property crime. Data released last week by the Federal Bureau of Investigations reveals that San Francisco had the highest per-capita rate of property crimes among the 20 most populous cities in the United States.

In 2016, San Francisco’s property crimes tallied around 47,000 and 54,000 in 2017. Reports state that Bay Area Police Departments are working in collaboration to develop a solution to the problem. San Francisco News reached out to San Francisco Police Department for comment, but did not hear back before print.
