SAN MATEO—On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at approximately 9:39 in the evening, there were reports of a package theft for the San Mateo Police Department on the 400 block of Station Park Circle. There were two suspects, 35-year-old Van Nuys resident Luis Magana and 34-year-old San Francisco resident Talia George, who were identified as the suspects. They were last seen to be walking the area of Garvey Way and South Delaware Street. Thus, San Mateo Police Officers responded quickly to the area to question and search them.

There was probable cause to apprehend the duo for the following offenses: burglary, conspiracy to commit crimes and delaying an officer in performing their tasks. During a search of George, police found methamphetamine was found on her body and burglary tools were found in her one of her bags, causing police to apprehend her. Plus, both suspects were arrested on multiple outstanding warrants and booked in San Mateo County Jail.

Magana was charged with PC 460(B)-Burglary, PC182(A)(1)-Conspiracy to Commit a Crime, PC 148(A)(1)-Delaying an Officer and had outstanding warrants. George is charged with 460 (B)- Burglary, PC 182(A)(1)-Conspiracy to Commit a Crime, PC 148(A)(1)-Delaying an Officer, 466-Possession of Burglary Tools, HS 1377(A)-Possession of a Controlled Substance and had outstanding warrants.
