SAN FRANCISCO—On Friday, May 2, the San Fracisco Police Department announced they are investigating a fatal shooting in the Mission District. The SFPD reported at approximately 12:42 p.m., officers responded to a residence on the 3000 block of 26th Street on a report of a possible shooting.

Officers arrived on scene and located a male suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics were called to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased. The name and age of the victim has not been disclosed to the public.
