SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department has made an arrest in a fatal hit and run that occurred on March 20, 2014. According to a press release from the SFPD website, SF Police Investigators from the Traffic Collision Investigators Unit (TCIU) with assistance from the Inglewood Police Station executed a search warrant at a home of Nidra Stubbs, 31, of San Francisco.

She was taken into custody at her home at around 11:45 a.m. on April 10 with incident. Stubbs was booked at San Francisco County Jail on a felony hit and run and misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter charges. During the hit and run, a female victim in her 80’s was crossing Visitacion Avenue in the crosswalk when she was hit by a Dodge Durango making a left turn onto Bayshore Blvd.

Investigators from the Traffic Collision Investigation Unit worked on investigative leads which identified the suspect.
