SAN FRANCISCO—On Sunday, May 11, the San Francisco Fire Department announced on their Facebook page that they received a call late afternoon about a person not breathing on Ocean Beach near Fort Funston.
After arriving on the scene, crews from the SFFD fire station 19 located the patient down on the beach about half a mile from the parking lot.
A family out of town was visiting the beach. It was determined that it was two patients, two waiting SFFD ambulances who were able to quickly transport them to the hospital for additional care.
No additional details about the incident or the victims have been disclosed to the public.
